We’ve finally done it! No, we haven’t solved the so-called ‘financial crisis’ in the UK, but we’re definitely getting Newark’s need for great coffee, cakes and lite bites sorted out…

The builders, decorators, electricians, IT specialists, coffee machine engineers, plumbers, carpenters and flooring contractors have finished and the result, we think, is rather nice. (Although, the traffic enforcement officers won’t have as much to do on Middlegate this week!)

Ok, so there’ll be a few visits for ‘snagging’ purposes, but otherwise, it’s back to business as usual.

Day one went very well, despite the electrics tripping out every 30 minutes in the new kitchens – that has been rectified this morning and we should, as they say , be ‘cooking with gas’.

So we look forward to welcoming you to our new entrance and servery and hope you’ll appreciate the changes. Please bear with us as we get all the little niggles ironed out and as always, thanks for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
